It is the largest, biologically active hot water lake of the world having a thick layer of medical mud on its bottom. Balatonederics:- You don't need to follow the swallows to their winter home in order to experience the touch of Africa. A visit to the Africa Museum - in fact a marvellous hunting and ethnographic collection and park- will do. Herend: The city of Herend, which is well-known due to her china producing manufactory is located 80km from Hévíz.
